The current health emergency has led to a significant decrease of the number of visitors at the Benedictine Monastery. In order to avoid suspending the service and keeping the daily opening, with considerable effort, we are however, forced to temporarily reduce the numbers of the daily guided tours.
Starting from Monday 17 January 2022 the guided tours by Officine Culturali of the Benedictine Monastery will take place as following:
- Monday to Friday at 10:00 and 12:00
- Saturday and Sunday every hour from 10:00 to 17:00.
- April 25th and May 1st every hour from 10:00 to 17:00.
To participate in the guided tours, which are approximately 75min long, reservation is required by calling 0957102767 or 3349242464 during opening hours (also via WhatsApp message) or by writing an email to info@officineculturali.net
In order to participate in the guided tours of the Benedictine Monastery, today the Department of Humanities of the University of Catania, from 1 April it is necessary to exhibit the basic green pass and wear a ffp2 mask.
